We start our journey through the colorful state of Punjab and Himachal and we explore the mesmerizing places like the Golden Temple in Amritsar, which is the holiest of the Sikh shrines. We go through Himachal Pradesh the land of the Gods where the Himalayas start rising sky high and pass Dharamshala, known as Little Tibet, as it is the current home of Holiness Dalai Lama, the head of Tibetan Buddhism. We get a chance to experience Paragpur, the only listed heritage village in the country and the orchards and tea gardens of Palampur framed against the mighty Dhauladhar mountain range. We will also visit Andretta, a potter's village that was the home of the famous studio potter and today the place has a reputation as an artists colony. At the end we will go through Shimla, the stately summer capital of the Raj with its resplendent Vice regal lodge, the Christ Church and other buildings from erstwhile British rule. Experience the beautiful rural India and its colorful people in this cycling trip. Daily cycling average distance between 30 to 40 kilometers each day. Instead of giving a certain number of kilometers each day, we mention total distances between the destinations and leave the choice of cycling distances to our guests. The supporting vehicle will always be there at your service. En route we will have bottled water and juices after every 15 to 20 kms available in the supporting vehicle, which will always follow the cyclists. If at any point riding seems a little hard the supporting vehicle takes you for as long or as little as you wish it to.
