Packed with snow and a myriad of bird life early on in the season, Khanpari Tibba is an ideal trek to introduce oneself to the undeniable allure of standing on the top of a peak at 13100ft. The Khanpari Tibba trek, starting from right above the famous Hadimba Temple, winds through Pine and Cedar forests to come to picturesque glades with sweeping views of Manali. We climb steeply through forests of Maple, Walnut, Chestnut and Oak – giving way to rhododendron, juniper and birch bushes to witness panoramic views of the Manalsu glacier, the Dhauladhar and Pirpanjal ranges including Hanuman Tibba, Deo Tibba and Rohtang Pass in the Pir Panjal Range. The trek is a perfect, well rounded Himalayan adventure for a weekend getaway. It passes through landscapes that are constantly changing, offers sweeping wide views of snow capped mountains, offers a chance to meet the nomadic shepherds from villages down in the valley and gives you a chance to test your fitness on its moderately steep slopes to stand atop a peak and feel the rush of a summit.
